China Stone Capital    Shandong Laizhou 

Laizhou, locates at Shandong Province, China. It is 500 km away from the Chinese capital Beijing, and 100 km away from Qingdao.

Laizhou is the largest stone producting base in northern China, having won the name of "China Stone Capital". Laizhou has rich stone resources and it is investigated that the total available reserves stone for mining in Laizhou is over 3 billion cubic meters. There are more than 2,200 stone enterprises in the city. The exploitation of quarry stone is nearly 1.8 million cubic meters every year, the annual stone plate processing is 60 million square meters and the special-shaped stone carvings is 200 thousand pieces yearly. The stone products were exported to more than 20 countries and regions.

Laizhou International Stone Exhibition

China Laizhou International Stone Fair is held by China Stone Association and local government in common. Since 2003, it has been successfully held for seven years, and the 8th will be from Sep.9th to 11th in 2010. This year, there will be over 280 domestic and overseas exhibitors. The total fair area will be up to 3 million square meters. It will display related stones, machines and products, include marble, granite, slate, sandstone, artificial stone, stone carving, tombstone, garden stone, stone mining and processing machines, stone nursing products and so on.
